Surround yourself with creative energy and positive vibes at the Brushstroke Bungalow in Upper Fields Landing, Humboldt County, California.  This 3 bedroom Victorian cottage is filled with the vibrant artwork of local painter and sculptor Lindsey Boles. Take a tour of Element Art Studio located right here on the property. Join in the fun and try your hand at wood-burning, painting, or leather working. Humboldt has beautiful, scenic coastlines, six rivers, and pristine redwood forests. You can kayak along the coast, surf the jetties, fish in the crystal clear lakes, go rafting down the Trinity River, hike in the majestic redwoods, explore Headwaters Reserve on bikes,  or discover the treasures right in your own back yard.

 Walk up into the forest or down to Humboldt Bay from this adorable cottage  and enjoy the local flavor of Fields Landing by fishing, crabing, and wild  mushroom foraging. There is a full kitchen for cooking in when you don't want to eat out, and you can cozy up with a book on the couch, kick back in the hammock, or sit by the fire and unwind with a glass of wine. From the kitchen the covered porch leads you to the garden where you can pick fresh herbs and veggies, as well as apples and plums. Our hens provide fresh eggs daily. Sit on the porch to soak in the sun while drinking your morning cup of coffee. Bird watching is fantastic in the garden.
